Now hiring: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Colusa County, California. The job is at a busy gas installation company. The role involves locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Full-time, day shift.
