Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Madison Parish, Louisiana. You will work on an industrial construction site. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper.
