Sewing machine operator • Chesterfield County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
