Bar bender and fixer wanted in Logan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Logan County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
