Heavy equipment operator • City of Buena Vista, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will be based on a housing development site. Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
