Vacancy available: we are hiring a counterbalance forklift operator in Montgomery County, Iowa. You will be based on a factory shop floor. What we are looking for: • Valid forklift / FLT licence for counterbalance and reach trucks • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required The role involves: • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Assist with stock takes and cycle counting • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
