Natural gas fitter — Steele County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Steele County, North Dakota. You will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
