Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Pepin County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a land-clearing site. Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Day to day you will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; refuel the machine and record running hours. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
