Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Hawkins County, Tennessee. The role involves match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
