Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Lancaster County, South Carolina. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing The role involves repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
