Concrete shuttering carpenter — Borough of Thurrock

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Borough of Thurrock, England. On a typical shift you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £1,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
