Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Okpe, Delta State. You will work at a busy production line. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints.
