Structural MIG welder wanted in Kennebec County

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Kennebec County, Maine. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience.
