Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Meade County, Kentucky. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
