TIG welder • Knox County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Knox County, Indiana. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
