You should have: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Day-to-day duties: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
