Gas metal arc welder — Delaware County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Delaware County, Ohio. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
