Offshore rigger • Dewey County, South Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Dewey County, South Dakota. You will work at a shipyard. Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Rotating shifts.
