Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Redcar and Cleveland, England. The job is on a busy construction site. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits Your main tasks: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
