Join our team: we are hiring a countertop fabricator in Rockbridge County, Virginia. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Your main tasks: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
