Immediate opening: site safety steward (California)

Join our team: we are hiring a site safety steward in Fresno County, California. You will work at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On a typical shift you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
