Rebar fixer wanted in Claiborne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Claiborne County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
