Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Logan County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
