Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Cumberland County, Maine. The job is on a construction site. On the job you will handle: • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors You should have: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
