Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Madera County, California. The role involves enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
