Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. What we are looking for: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Willing to work shifts and overtime Your main tasks: • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
