Tyre and wheel fitter wanted in Douglas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Douglas County, Kansas. You will fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine. You should have: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided.
