Heavy equipment operator — Cass County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Cass County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $150 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
