Lift maintenance fitter • Clayton County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Clayton County, Georgia. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
