Concrete shuttering carpenter wanted in Clark County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Clark County, Kentucky. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Part-time with flexible hours.
