Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Effingham County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Effingham County, Illinois. The job is at a busy gas installation company. Your main tasks: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 6+ years on the tools preferred.
