Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Houston County, Minnesota. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
