Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Grand Isle County, Vermont. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator.
