Injection moulding machine operator • East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an injection moulding machine operator in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper Requirements: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
