Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Champaign County, Ohio. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 6+ years on the tools preferred.
