You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On a typical shift you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork.
