Milling machinist wanted in City of Baltimore

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in City of Baltimore, Maryland. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
