Immediate opening: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Woodford County, Illinois. The job is at a glass and aluminium factory. Day to day you will apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; replace cracked or broken window panes; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris. You should have: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $11,250 per project, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
