Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. The job is at a container port. On the job you will handle: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
