Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Washburn County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees Six days a week, one day off.
