Great opportunity: site carpenter (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Scott County, Indiana. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. Day to day you will install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
