Metal roofing fitter • Marion County, Arkansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Marion County, Arkansas. You will work at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Requirements: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
