Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Towner County, North Dakota. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
