Now hiring: gas appliance installer (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Ringgold County, Iowa. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
