Crane operator • Ashe County, North Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Ashe County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
