Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Dubois County, Indiana. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
