Vacancy available: short order cook (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a short order cook in Wayne County, Indiana. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Day-to-day duties: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
