Immediate opening: steel fixer (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Baraga County, Michigan. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) You will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
