Formwork joiner wanted in Saunders County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Saunders County, Nebraska. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level On the job you will handle: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement Six days a week, one day off. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
