Immediate opening: GTAW welder (Minnesota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Stearns County, Minnesota. Your main tasks: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
